Challenge

ShoPro Entertainment and VIZ, known worldwide for their popular anime TV shows and Japanese "manga" comics, merged in 2005. Having successfully created identities for ShoPro's shows and corporate identity, ShoPro and VIZ asked BIG BLUE DOT to create a strong branding strategy, name, identity, website and style guide for the new company.

Result

Our goals were to visually represent the strengths and personality of the new company by designing a clean, powerful mark that uses simple shapes and a limited color palette. The mark is available in vertical, horizontal and stacked versions. The website carries the brand through with elegance in its organization, dynamic design, and sophisticated animation.
